Carinthia presented itself at the exhibition stand of the Austrian foreign trade organisation to a broad specialised public as a place for business, research and technology in the south of Austria. BABEG used the Trade Show to showcase Carinthia as a business location. Our colleague Tanja Kogler was available to answer any questions of companies thinking about setting up business in Carinthia, and in B2B meetings she presented all the impressive aspects of the innovation space that Carinthia is.

Dr. Pamela Mühlmann, head of the Research, Technology and Innovation unit of BABEG, used the opportunity to obtain important input for the "Carinthian Roadmap" and to establish an international network by attending the relevant specialised events, summits and exhibitions of the "Industry 4.0" sector.

Hannover Messe is the globally recognised platform for all technologies revolving around industrial transformation. 215,000 visitors attended this mammoth trade show this year. 6,500 exhibitors presented themselves on an exhibition space of 227,000 sqm. We can report from experience that it is impossible to visit all exhibition halls, as this trade show exceeds everything we have ever seen.
