project manager (f/m) for Investment Promotion

BABEG Carinthian Agency for Investment Promotion and Public Shareholding (www.investincarinthia.at) aims to strengthen the long term innovative capability and international competitiveness of Carinthia as a business location. Therefore, it supports the establishment of foreign companies in Carinthia, provides industrial and commercial sites, creates a technological infrastructure such as the Lakeside Science & Technology Park Klagenfurt and the High Tech Campus Villach and holds strategic participations in extra-university competence centers such as the Lakeside Labs, the Wood Carinthian Competence Center and Joanneum Research Forschungsgesellschaft mbH.

For our international investment service & consulting team, we are looking for the earliest possible entry of a

project manager (f/m)

 

Your remit:

  • Supporting international companies, investors, start-ups (from initial enquiry to company foundation)
  • Organisation and coordination of events in Austria and abroad
  • Presentation of Carinthia as a business center in Austria and abroad
  • Active networking in the target market to address potential target groups
  • Looking after the CRM database (Sage), ongoing reporting
  • Preparing and publishing job profiles in collaboration with the client
  • Drafting mailshots in collaboration with the marketing department
  • Administrative tasks (project archiving, schedule coordination, address management, etc.)
  • After intensive induction phase and project support provision of independent
  • advice to foreign companies (predominantly from Italy, Slovenia and Germany)

 

Professional and personal requirements profile:

  • Ideally degree in business administration or law or comparable commercial training
  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience, ideally in the area of project management
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Italian are required (native speaker with very good German welcome), other languages are an advantage
  • Know-how in the area of start-ups and funding advice are an advantage
  • Independent, proactive and meticulous way of working
  • Confident at presenting in several languages
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer service
  • Team player and good communication skills
  • High level of dedication and reliability
  • Willingness to travel
  • Class B driving licence

This position commands a basic gross salary of € 3,000.00 per month. As a matter of course, we offer overpayment in line with market requirements depending on education, qualifications and professional experience.
