BABEG – Invest in Carinthia, ABA – Invest in Austria, the Trade Representatives Association of the Austrian Economic Chamber and the International Trade Centre Padua, Italy invited entrepreneurs from Udine and Treviso to a double information event under the motto "Fare impresa in Austria" (Entrepreneurship in Austria).

The International Trade Centre Padua and its trade delegate Dr. Gregor Postl invited Italian entrepreneurs, tax experts and investors to an information event about the business location Austria with a morning session in Udine on 26 February and a repeat afternoon in Treviso. The presentations of the Austrian delegation were attended by around 80 potential Italian investors.

Mr. Christian Rebernig, President of the Trade Representatives Association in Austria, provided insight into the cooperation between Italian companies and Austrian commercial agents. Dr. Enrica Maggi of Studio Legale Maggi-Brandl-Katholnig gave an overview of legal aspects and shared important information to take into consideration when drafting contractual arrangements between Austria and Italy.

To round the event off, Ms. Gerlinde Gahleitner of  ABA (Austrian Business Agency) and Mr. Michael Zwantschko of BABEG | Invest in Carinthia shared business facts and figures about Austria, with a special focus on Carinthia. The aim was to offer thorough information to the interested entrepreneurs about the various aspects of company establishment in Austria and Carinthia and to present Austria/Carinthia as potential places for expansion.

The presentations were followed by individual B2B talks where special questions were answered in detail.
